2026 HOSS V8 Supercars Challenge — Round 1 Launch

Built from member votes, the 2026 HOSS V8 Supercars Challenge is locked in as a 6-round Supercars series, featuring the circuits you rated highest.

Round 1 kicks off now at Sydney Motorsport Park (Gardner) . It’s a circuit that demands commitment early — long loaded corners, heavy braking zones, and exits that punish hesitation. A strong opening round here sets the tone for the rest of the challenge.

Each round runs for one full month and determines the Tier you race in on race night and ultimately the points on offer to the overall Supercars leaderboard.

How the Challenge Works

    Compete In Monthly Leaderboard
    Each round features an official Supercars car & circuit combination, live for the full month drivers will compete for the single fastest lap to determine the tier they race in on the members race night.

    Members Race night
    To run the month following the leaderboard finishing - The top 24 member drivers will be invited to the members Supercars challenge racenight where depending on their finishing order they will compete for points across 3 Tiers If your not a members sign up now at our memberships page
  3. 3
    The Tiers
    3 Tiers across the fast 8 (top 8) Tier 2 (positions 9 to16) and Tier 3 (positions 17 to 24) will race on the same night within their tier where they will compete for overall supercars championship points.

    The Points
    Each Supercars board will consist of 2 races on race night with the below points for each race 1st — 150 2nd — 138 3rd — 129 4th — 120 5th — 111 6th — 102 7th — 96 8th — 90 9th — 84 10th — 78 11th — 72 12th — 69 13th — 66 14th — 63 15th — 60 16th — 57 17th — 54 18th — 51 19th — 48 20th — 45 21st — 42 22nd — 39 23rd — 36 24th — 33

Championship Tiers

FAST 8
The sharp end of the field. The fastest top 8 drivers race for maximum championship points with no room for mistakes.
TIER 2
Highly competitive racing with full points and a clear pathway upward as your pace improves. Drivers in this tier are competing for 9th to 16th place points
TIER 3
Entry and development tier focused on racecraft, consistency, and improvement across the season. Drivers in this tier are racing for 17th to 24th placed points

Tier placement is based on leaderboard performance however if a driver can not make race night they may still receive supercar championship points but all drivers that do race will be placed in front of them

  • Open to all drivers for leaderboard participation however Race Nights and finals including prizes are reserved for HOSS Members only. So if your not a member we would love to have you- Join up under our memberships tab above
